ABOUT
A native of Paris and New York City, Mathias holds a graduate degree in producing from the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI) and studied at La Sorbonne. His awards include; 2001 Sundance Award, Peter Rabbit and the Crucifix, the 2003 Miami International Festival, Off Track Betting, and the Franklin Schaffer Fellowship Award for Producing. Some of the studios, production companies and corporate clients he works with include, Apple Inc., 20th Century Fox, Vinyl Films, Dune Entertainment, Universal Music, VICE, Time Magazine, Cartier, Facebook, L’Arc Paris and BMW. In 2004, Mathias served as Art Director for the music video, The Patience Bossa, directed by Gary Oldman. Mathias worked on the feature films, Dreamgirls, Charlie Wilsons War, Cloverfield, Rocky Balboa, and most recently, We Bought A Zoo, Dark Summer and What Lola Wants. Mathias has interviewed Steven Spielberg for a PBS special about Chuck Jones, and worked alongside Adam Sandler, Jon de Bont, George Stevens Jr., and Michael Stevens, as well as with Norman Jewison, Ilona Herzberg and Cameron Crowe.
